Our Classes
Spaces are limited. Please make sure you can attend before you book. If you cannot make it please cancel within 6 hours of the class starting time to allow someone else to practise. If you fail to do this you may still be charged.
Forrest Yoga
A dynamic practice for all levels. In this class you will learn how to breathe effectively whilst moving through a mindful series of poses to ease the physical and emotional pressures of modern life. All Forrest Yoga classes will include an aspect of core strengthening which is done in a mindful, methodical way.
Restorative Yoga
A gentle, slow paced, meditative practice. Expect mainly floor poses and long holds. Using breathing techniques to create space and openness in the body and mind. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets provided. Please feel free to bring your own cushion.
Pilates Inspired Core Strengthening
Using Forrest Yoga core strengthening exercises with an emphasis on breathing to optimise movement. Learn to strengthen the core in a safe, mindful and methodical way, with a view to protecting against back pain and promote balance therefore, relieving tension from the neck and shoulders. All equipment provided.
Vinyassa Flow
Vinyassa yoga involves moving (or flowing) from one pose to the next smoothly and seamlessly, using your breath. Vinyasa classes incorporate a variety of poses that engage and strengthen your core muscles and are suitable for beginners as well as more advanced yogi’s.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is very slow paced and targets your deep connective tissues. Yin involves holding passive poses for a few minutes at a time, whilst focusing on your breath. It is a restorative and meditative style of yoga, guaranteed to completely relax your mind and body.
Hatha Yoga
In a Hatha yoga class we concentrate on balancing body and mind. Combining breathing techiques and yoga poses we will move more slowly and with more static holds than a Vinyasa flow. I will layer postures where possible, giving you the option to take things easy or to push yourself out of your comfort zone. The class will build in intensity and then slow to a relaxing savasana. You will leave feeling both relaxed yet invigorated.
Renew & Refresh Yoga
Expect a Vinyasa style warm up followed by focus on specific yoga poses to deepen body awareness. Wind down with relaxing restorative Yin Yoga and end with deep relaxation.
